RE: AIMAA Summer Camp 2012
As you may have already heard, we will be changing the venue for next year’s summer camp from Orlando, Florida, to the Isle of Jersey, UK, located in the Channel Islands.
This location was selected to accommodate our European AIMAA members, offering an economical, yet exciting opportunity to enjoy one week in this resort island which is located within sight of the coast of Normandy, France. From Jersey, families can easily visit other European or British locations to make for an overall vacation to Europe.
The dates for the AIMAA Summer Camp 2012 are July 23rd – July 27th, 2012. There will also be International Black Belt Testing on July 22nd, 2012. Coincidentally, the ending date for the AIMAA Summer Camp is the starting date for the 2012 Summer Olympics, held this year in the UK. Therefore, we encourage all AIMAA members interested in participating, to schedule travel arrangements and hotel bookings way in advance.
If you are looking for information about hotels, travel, etc. to Jersey, we will be posting details on our AIMAA HQ website and you can also view the AIMAA websites from US, Scotland, Ireland or UK for further suggestions and information, assisting you with your travels to Jersey.
